Our Story

Since 1938, our community has been rooted in faith and committed to serving others, and we believe every gathering has the power to encourage, renew, and strengthen people. We’re located at Prairie View A&M University, and from there we reach outward, equipping believers to grow spiritually, connect meaningfully, and make a lasting impact in our neighborhoods and beyond.

Canterbury Services

Canterbury is held Sundays at 1:30 PM.

St Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church

Eucharist is held Sundays at 10:30 AM.

Wednesday Evening Prayer

Evening Prayer is held Wednesdays at 5:30 PM.

Student Office Hours & Prayer

Wednesdays and Thursdays: Office hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on campus in the All Faiths Chapel.

Tuesdays: From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Memorial Student Center (MSC), where we pray for students on campus.

Church Services

We welcome you to worship with us at our church services, where you can expect a warm community, meaningful teaching, and an atmosphere of hope. Each gathering is designed to strengthen your faith, encourage your spirit, and help you leave renewed and ready to live out what you believe.

Our services also create space for connection, through prayer, fellowship, and involvement opportunities that help you feel at home from the first visit. Whether you’re coming for the first time or looking to grow deeper, you’ll find purpose and community every time we gather.
